Choreography
As a stuntman and fight choreographer, my role is to bring the adrenaline-pumping action to life and make it believable. I use action as a tool for storytelling, creating dynamic fight sequences that not only entertain, but also drive the plot forward.
Services
Stunts and Action Execution
As an experienced stuntman, I am available for executing stunts and fight scenes on camera.
Choreography and Fight Coordination
I specialize in planning and designing action sequences and stunts for films and videos.
Actor Training
In addition to coordinating, as well as executing stunts and fight scenes, I also offer training services for actors in combat, weapons and fight choreography.
On-Set Fight Coordination
During filming, I am on set to ensure that the planned action sequences and stunts are executed safely and effectively.
Pre-Visualization Filming
A good plan is a goal half done. During prep, I offer the filming and cutting of previz to visualize possible solutions for action sequences.
Background
I started studying martial arts and movement research at a young age, and I have always been fascinated by the reasons and development behind their origin. With over 25 years of training and experience in various martial arts, I continue to strive for the fusion of tradition, application, modern movement styles and the breaking of all of its patterns. My goal is to find new, creative and innovative ways to approach techniques and weapon usage and to bring them on screen through story and movement combined.
Methodical Approach
As an academic and former scientist, my approach to choreography and performance is very analytical. For me, it is important that every scene and character feels authentic, yet stylized while I plan and choreograph the actions and fights. Each and every movement needs purpose and meaning. Despite my analytical thinking, I make sure that the feeling and emotions are always first priority in order to deliver an impressive and story driving performance.
